Methodology for calculating the in-country value share (Kazakhstani personnel) in staff engaged in performing subsoil use contracts, used for monitoring and controlling obligations and for preparing bids.
What matters for an oil & gas company
- The Kazakhstani share is calculated as a percentage of total staff in four categories: managers and deputies; heads of structural units; specialists; skilled workers.
- Contracts concluded before the Code took effect with obligations broken into three categories keep the three-category split.
- Renamed from 'local content' to 'in-country value' in 2022 (Order No. 113 of 04.04.2022).
