Kazakhstan has no single price: the Energy Ministry sets wholesale caps on commercial gas by region; no change was reported this week.

What is the asset worth, and what will it earn?
An investor asks three questions: what will the project earn, where is it, and how do I buy it? The economic model calculates NPV, IRR, payback and every tax under the 2026 code. The map shows the field, the pipelines nearby and the operating company. The roadmap takes the deal from screening to closing.
A subsoil user's manager needs quick answers: which act applies, which tax is due and how to calculate it. We collected the industry's codes, laws and rules in force, with plain summaries and links to the official texts, brought the taxes of the new Tax Code together and built engineering calculators in ten areas — from the reservoir and drilling to electrical, environment and payroll.

Who will do the work, and where are the customers?
Service companies, manufacturers and suppliers work for field operators. In the directory a buyer finds a contractor by category and region, compares companies and sends a request. A supplier gets a profile built from official sources and becomes visible to those looking for a contractor.

SLB (formerly Schlumberger) provides reservoir characterization, well construction, completion and production services and technologies to oil and gas operators in Kazakhstan. It works through an Atyrau-registered branch of Schlumberger Logelco Inc. (since 2001) and ТОО «Шлюмберже Центральная Азия», and runs a large operating base near Aktau, opened in 2012, that supports onshore and offshore work in western Kazakhstan and the wider Caspian region.
Aktau-based oilfield service company specialising in electric submersible pump (ESP) systems. It supplies, installs, dismantles and services ESP units and manufactures and repairs submersible motors and centrifugal pumps at its own production base. The company was set up in 2014 on the basis of ANEK, whose history dates back to 2005, and has run ESP repair shops in Zhanaozen and at the Alibekmola field.
Kazakhstan arm of the French testing, inspection and certification group Bureau Veritas, registered in the country since 2004. It works through offices in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau and Temirtau across industrial inspection, construction, management-system certification and commodities inspection. For oil and gas it covers the asset life cycle from permitting and risk analysis to QA/QC and inspection during operation.
Aktobe-based engineering and production company (Automation, Metrology, Engineering) that designs, manufactures, installs and maintains oil and gas metering systems, block-modular process units, gas separators, flare units and process control systems. Its projects include a gas flow metering system at the Bakhyt field for QazaqGaz and a block-modular pump station at the Kenkiyak oil receiving point for KazakhTurkmenOil.
Halliburton provides well construction, completion and intervention services to oil and gas operators in Kazakhstan through the Kazakhstan branch of Halliburton International GmbH (registered in 1996) and ТОО «Halliburton Kazakhstan». It has offices and operating bases in Atyrau, Aktau and Aksai; its remotely operated completion valves have been used at the Tengiz field, and it partners with Aksai Operating LLP, which holds an NCOC contract to operate a hydraulic workover unit at Kashagan.
Burgylau is a Zhanaozen-based drilling contractor established in 1997 on the basis of the Soviet-era Uzen drilling department. It constructs production oil and gas wells and also performs workover, well completion and abandonment, with Ozenmunaigas as its main customer. The company belongs to the KazPetroDrilling group.
