Emission standards methodology
On approval of the Methodologies for determining environmental emission standards
The English title is an unofficial translation.
Under the 2021 Environmental Code, set the algorithm for establishing emission standards (permissible air emissions and water discharges) for Category I and II facilities, and include a methodology for calculating emissions from flares of gas-chemical complexes.
What matters for an oil & gas company
- Replaced the 2012 Methodology for determining emission standards (Order No. 110-ө), which lost force when Order No. 63 was adopted (in force from 1 July 2021).
- Contain algorithms for calculating emission standards for stationary sources and discharge standards, emission inventory forms, the content of the draft emission standards project and monitoring schedules.
- Amended by orders of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources No. 146 of 28.06.2024 and No. 199 of 02.09.2024.
