Kokshetau-based machine-building plant, founded in 1959 as an oxygen breathing apparatus plant. For oil production the plant makes filters that keep sand, proppant and other solids out of downhole pumps — FPPR suspended filters for sucker-rod pumps and ESPs and FVPR intake filter modules for ESPs — BFSR filter sections for these and for reservoir pressure maintenance (water injection) filters, and sucker rod guides. The filter elements are made of permeable pressed-wire material (PPM) and its layered, elastically stretched variant, PPM-UR.
According to the company's website, the FPPR filter suits production casing from 102 mm (filter OD from 74 mm), flow rates of 10 to 9,000 m³/day, filtration fineness of 30–500 µm and solids content of up to 3,000 mg/l; installation length is 1.6 to 21 m, and it is mounted on an isolation tool, a packer or the submersible motor shroud. FVPR filters are made for ESP sizes 2A, 5, 5A and 7A (OD 69–136 mm) for 100–3,200 m³/day, with fineness of 100, 200, 300 or 500 µm. The FVPR housing is not perforated: after passing the filter wall, the fluid flows to the pump along the housing rather than along the shaft through the bearings, as in perforated designs, which reduces bearing and shaft wear. BFSR sections for water-injection filters are rated for 5, 25 or 50 µm. The rod guides, made of abrasion-resistant anti-friction elastomers, are fitted onto 3/4-in and 7/8-in rods at the well site (73 mm tubing) to cut rod and tubing wear and the number of rod-pump and progressing cavity pump failures caused by rods wearing through the tubing.
The plant also makes powder and CO2 fire extinguishers and recharges them, and LPG equipment: household gas cylinders, cylinder valves and pressure regulators. Serial production of 27-litre cylinders with the VB-2P valve started in February 2026, with capacity for up to 65,000–70,000 cylinders a year. The plant has machining, casting and electroplating shops, a design bureau and a test centre, and takes orders for turning, milling and welding, lost-foam casting, heat treatment and coatings. In 2024 the company gained domestic-manufacturer status, confirmed by an industrial certificate.
