According to the company, Worley has worked in Kazakhstan for more than 25 years and provides FEED, detailed engineering and EPCM as well as construction, turnaround and maintenance services. On Tengizchevroil's Future Growth Project – Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP) Worley was a member of the Fluor-led KPJV joint venture; the company describes its own part as FEED and detailed EPCM for the wellhead pressure management scope, carried out by its engineering centres in Atyrau, Almaty and Aktau. Kazakhstan-registered joint venture of Technip Energies (France) and the Karaganda Promstroyproekt Institute LLP (KPSP), created in 2019; according to Technip Energies, the partners hold equal shares. Its head office is in Karaganda and, according to the company, it has branch offices in Atyrau, Aksai and Almaty. According to the company, it provides conceptual studies, pre-FEED, FEED and detailed engineering for operating fields, as well as project management consultancy (PMC). In July 2021 Technip Energies reported a five-year frame agreement between TKJV and NCOC for the Aktote, Kairan and Kashagan fields, from conceptual studies to pre-FEED; on 18 June 2024 Technip Energies, through TKJV, signed a five-year services frame agreement with Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, from consulting and concept to detailed engineering. A state public-hearing notice for a hearing on 22 June 2026 names TKJV as the developer of the design documentation for the tie-in and hook-up of well 98102 at the Karachaganak field.
